PSG Eyeing AC Milan’s Top Talent: Two Players on Radar for Potential Transfer Raid

Paris Saint-Germain have adopted a new transfer policy that prioritizes French talent. Last summer, the capital club landed Lucas Hernandez, Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembélé, and Randal Kolo Muani, and this year could see more French players arrive.

Gianluigi Donnarumma struggled in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie. However, he did redeem himself in the second leg. The semifinal tie against Borussia Dortmund and possibly the final will be crucial for PSG to see whether he’s the goalkeeper for the foreseeable future.

Furthermore, this summer, the Parisians will likely bolster their defense, as they’re currently linked to various defenders. According to Gazzetta Dello SportPSG are observing the situations of Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan at AC Milan. They’re probably on standby to raid the Italian club with two prominent talents.

The Italian media outlet notes that Hernandez and Maignan are on the transfer market this summer. Nonetheless, the report doesn’t reveal the asking price that AC Milan will want for both players, but it should be a significant fee.

Hernandez is under contract until 2026 while Maignan also has a contract with the Serie A side until 2026. AC Milan likely knows where talks over new deals are going, and if they don’t feel an extension can be struck, it might explain why they’re reportedly available.

It will be interesting to see if PSG can pull off a double swoop this summer.
